Saturday = Papercraft

Last Saturday I spent almost the whole day busy with papercraft.

Joey saw that I saved this on the PC and he really really wanted me to make it.

I started at 1.30 pm and finished it at 11.30 pm.. What a day and what a mess on the floor. But he sure did like the way it looked.

Project Spectrum

Little red petunia

What do you do??

What do you do when you have a power failure that last almost the entire day?

Well when Joey got home from school last friday we started playing with domino stones. So much fun..Except for the part when they keep on falling when you don't want them too.

Finally at 2.30 pm we had power again. For about 3 hours atleast then it went of again when the repair men started to repair the broken cable.

Busy redecorating

Oh my have we been busy. Or I should say my DH and Son. Look at them working together side by side.

After that first layer of red paint there got 2 more on to get a nice brown-red color.

Don't look at the mess, I've still got some sorting out to do. In the mean time I'm working on my evening stockings and the lace top.

Firestarter Finished

I finished the firestarter socks. And I love them, so thanks Yarnissima for a fabulous pattern.

Here is another picture where you can see the pattern better.

Saturday I will be going to the Handwerkbeurs in Zwolle and I will probably visit Yarnissima there who's giving workshops for toe-up socks

First Firestarter Finished

Yippie, I finished the first Firestarter from Yarnissima. I love this sock and the pattern. I did use a Magical cast on for the toe. It worked better for me then the toe described in the pattern.

I used Scheepjes Invicta Extra on size 2,5 mm circ. Now on to the second sock.

Have a good weekend.

More Finished Projects

Yes it's true, there are more finished knitting projects. But due to a sore back and my son getting the chickenpocks i didn't get to posting about it earlier.

Here's another baby cardigan.

Yes, you're absolutely right, crocheted kitty's.

A beautiful Clapotis, if I do say so myself. Made from handspun merino.

A navy blue Hemlock Ring Blanket that still needs some serious blocking.

And a new project on the needles. Pomatomus Socks, knitting with lorna's laces.

Pay it Forward

Through the blog of a fellow soapmaker i found this;

Pay it Forward!

"I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don't know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog."

I'm in! How about you? For the first 3 people that respond i have a nice handmade soap (My Site).

What do you have to do?
1. Respond on this blog en give your email adres so that i can contact you for your adress.
2. Place this on your own blog and also send the first three people that respond something handmade.
