pff..Finally some relaxing time around here. I sure had a crazy week.

First off all my mother came here last weekend. She had a very swollen leg and a stumac pain. I didn't trust it so I took her to the doc who send us to the hospital. They did several tests and she could go home that saturday night. Sunday she called us that the doc called her to come in again for some other tests. And after that she was admitted to the hospital were she still is.

Then tuesday night my son got sick. Very sick, with a swollen lip, ears and a red rash all over his little body. We had to take him to the emergency doc in the middle of the night. Apparantly he had a allergic reaction to the virus he was having. Damn it scared the living daylights out of me.

My son is doing a lot better now after some anti-histamine meds. And it starts to turn out normal again here.

I hope you all had a better week then I did.

I love them. I love sanquhar. These are some gorgeous gloves. I used phildar dark blue and white to knit these on size 2 mm needles.






Besides working on these gloves I'm also working on the butterfly socks. And maybe create my own sockpattern. We'll see how that goes.

After I finished the Llama sweater I started on the second sock pattern for Sokketiers.
It's a lovely pattern designed by Ballee with butterflies on it.



The pattern is very easy to remember and is knitting up very quickly.

I'm thinking about taking my blog to my own domain. I already have that but never used it for a blog. So what do you think?
THe problems with blogger always seem to be there. Can't respond to any comment in personal unless I have the email. I'll think about it some more

Wait..did I say Llama jet. Well the Llama sweater I made for my son is finished.



School is starting tomorrow, in other schools untill the emergency classes are on the right place and installed. Should take about a week.

My son healed perfectly after surgery. He was eating cheese sandwiches that very afternoon. No problems at all. He was home for a week to get his act together. Yesterday he went to school again. And then it happend.

During the night from Monday to Tuesday a fire burned down his school. He's so sad. And I am too, for him.

It's a new year and all I've been doing is cleaning the house. Well besides non bloggable related knitting.

Tomorrow is the day of my sons operation. I'm nervous about it and so is my son. Here's hoping all goes well.

Thank you Teena for reminding me that it's my blogoversary today. I totally forgot about it. All the fault off my fingers and the flu that's been going around here. So please stay tuned in January for a nice celebration of 4 years of blogging.

Yeah I can knit again. My fingers are all healed again so I'm knitting further on the Llama sweater for my son. I have only the sleeves to finish so hopefully it will be finished very soon. We can sure use warm sweaters with all this cold weather that's hanging around here.

Can't knit or crochet and it's all the fault off that slippery road I bumped into yesterday. The skin on my fingers was scraped of and they feel bruised. My muscles were all protesting this morning when I wanted to get out off bed. I hope that when I'll have my fingers checked tomorrow they just put a plaster on so I can do something more then sit and watch movies or read
